A fine example of a Victorian burled walnut hall tree, made around 1875. It has a fancy crest with drape carving in the middle. It also has tassel carving on each side with six carved walnut hooks. Below the hooks is a burled walnut panel, and curved arms. The bottom has a marble top, carved drawer and cast iron drip pans. This would make a fine piece for the foyer.
