Three piece quarter sawn oak bed set. This is a very massive, top of the line bed set that consists of a bed, dresser, and commode. The top of all three pieces have a shell type carving in the middle with lots of relief carving on both sides. The dresser and commode have large rounded columns on both sides with fancy irregular shaped mirrors in the middle. The head board and foot board have a cluster of carving surrounding small cherubs. This is a fantastic original finish 3 piece bed set.

Cat #1229 Two Piece Walnut Bed Set

The bed has an arched top with a large carved
crest.  Below the crest are four burled panels
and a round medallion in the middle.  Each side has a tall turned finial.  The footboard has
curved sides and lots of burling.  The dresser
is a deep well dresser with marble on each side
and marble in the center.  Each side has 2
small drawers and a long drawer across the
bottom.  An excellent 2 piece bed set.

Fantastic 3-piece oak bedroom set with very stylish bed, dresser, and matching commode. Each piece features lots of applied carvings on the tops and large columns on each side. The bed is a full size with a great looking footboard and the dresser and commode have fancy matching mirrors. Every piece has large claw feet with the dresser and the commode having serpentine drawers. This is one of the finest examples of oak bedroom sets ever made.

Four piece oak bed set, consisting of a high back bed, dresser, commode, and lingerie wardrobe.This set is considered by most to be the Best oak bedroom set made. It was made around 1895 by the Karges Furniture Co. Evansville Indiana. Each piece has a ladies head at the top with Love birds or turtle doves in the middle. All the pieces have large columns on the side and lots of applied carving. This is the best bed set I have ever owned in the 30 years of being in the antique business
